I’m Gabriel Inacio — a software engineer passionate about solving real-world problems through clean code, scalable systems, and performance-first thinking. With over 5 years of experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms like GCP and Azure, I’ve led projects ranging from high-traffic marketplaces handling millions in transactions to banking systems processing billions of records with reliability and speed.
But my journey didn’t start behind a screen — it started in the field. I worked as a powerline electrician before transitioning into tech. That hands-on background shaped how I build software: practical, efficient, and resilient under pressure.
Today, I live in Poland and work at GPC Global, building mission-critical integrations between internal systems and major SaaS platforms. I’ve previously contributed to large-scale financial systems at UBS and helped launch Banco Next’s marketplace while at CI&T.
This blog is my way of sharing what I learn in the trenches — from system architecture and cloud-native development to day-to-day lessons from real engineering work. If you're into thoughtful, real-world software discussions, you're in the right place.
